The Lundstrum Center Staff

A New York to North Minneapolis Partnership

Because the artistic staff have a strong history and network with New York's Broadway artists, the Lundstrum Center draws on the talents of these additional professionals as teachers and performers. Lundstrum strives to become a world-class training center for aspiring Broadway artists. Master instructors from New York conduct workshops at the Lundstrum Center several times a year, and work with the Center's students in the annual Gala Performance held each spring. This is a major advantage for younger students who have access to Broadway artists as role models and teachers. Their presence inspires the Center's younger students to work harder and expand their repertoire, More than one young boy or girl has started ballet classes after working with a Broadway professional and seeing the dedication with which he or she works to perfect the art of dance and performance. These Broadway artists supplement the teaching of Lundstrum's talented teaching staff; all have a passion for working with kids and passing on their craft.

When the Lundstrum Center has completed its stage/theater, it will have the additional potential to become a "destination" for Musical Theater performance and training.
